On November 22nd, Mamma Mia comes to Cowes when our talented Chef Giannis (John to me and you), conjures up an array of Greek food to be enjoyed to the timeless tunes of Sweden's megastars ABBA. We can't promise the sun of Skopoles, but the lights of Lee-on-Solent may be twinkling. Tickets are £25.50 and can be booked from the website or from the office.

A really busy weekend at the Club with a super Trafalgar Night dinner on Saturday followed by a full house on Sunday Lunch with 140 served. With the sun continuing to shine the atmosphere was tremendous. (Please don't let the Treasurer tell you it was down to him being this weekend's Duty Officer). The increasing popularity of our Sunday Carvery means that booking has become highly advisable, sadly we had to turn 10 people away.

A French flavour at the club this weekend when the Club beat two others to host the 24th Inter Thales Regatta. Their fleet consisted of 27 Sunsail First 40 boats and 15 Racer/Cruiser IRC boats. The Catering Team excelled with dinner for 120 on Friday night and by providing an amazing 268 breakfast and lunch bags on both Saturday and Sunday - that's 1,192 meals. Hats off to Neil, the Kitchen Team and the Front
